What's new, what's fixed, what's improved. Inside FSM Shell you always run the current version — no manual upgrade step.
Improvement
Better search across every viewer
Every search-help dropdown — in Standard reports, UDO viewers, the SAP Document viewer, and custom screens — now does fuzzy partial matching across the primary and additional display fields. Typing 'sib' in a Subject lookup finds every record containing 'sib', not just exact matches. Works regardless of how many records exist in your tenant.
Improvement
Result tables pull more rows when you filter
Column filters in Standard report result tables now fetch matching rows beyond the initial display cap. Previously, typing in a column filter only matched what was already loaded; now we re-query the server so you find records anywhere in your dataset. An amber banner above the table tells you when the initial result hit our display cap so you know to use a filter.
Fix
Fix: filtering by all-digit codes
Filtering an FSM object by a value that looked numeric (like an Activity code of '0100001686') used to fail. Now fixed — string-shaped values are always treated as strings, regardless of whether they contain only digits.
Improvement
Standard reports across more FSM objects
Search-help and result tables now work for every FSM object — not just the most popular ones. We discover each object's current data shape automatically, so reports keep working when SAP updates an object on the back end.
New
Multi-source reports across FSM objects
Standard reports now support joining multiple FSM objects in one block — e.g. Service Calls + Activities + Business Partners side by side. Pick an anchor object, attach related ones, and choose your columns. Filters bind to driver fields just like single-source reports.
Fix
Fix: duplicating a Standard report
Duplicating a Standard Report could show a 'screen type not found' error on tenants where a legacy storage object wasn't present. Reports are now stored cleanly in their own field, and duplicate/delete no longer try to touch the legacy path.
Fix
Fix: report-designer filter dropdowns
When a filter row was bound to a driver field, reloading the designer left the dropdown showing 'Literal value' even though the binding was saved. Fixed — the dropdown now reflects the saved selection correctly.
New
License system live
EasyScreenViewer is now fully license-gated. Customers get a signed license JWT bound to their FSM tenant; the extension validates server-side on every load and enables only the screen types you paid for. Includes expired/revoked/invalid blocking modals with clear renewal guidance.
New
First public release in FSM Shell
EasyScreenViewer ships as an installable FSM Shell extension. Installs via the standard Foundational Services → Extensions flow.
